Daddy's B-day

Since Mommy and I were going to be out of town during Daddy's birthday last weekend, Mommy planned an entire day of awesome-ness to celebrate the weekend before. I was a key part of her plan, completing an almost 3 hour nap Saturday morning while the Brandts stayed here with me, while Mommy and Daddy had breakfast at City Coffeehouse. Yay for CREPES!!
We met them at the mall afterwards (Daddy and Uncle Matt escorted Kuyper and I through the mall), grabbed some Teavana tea, and looked for some new tennis shoes for Daddy (with no avail). Daddy got some Marble Slab icecream (where he and Mommy's first date was:) and then we went to Pi for pizza!! Daddy was beside himself, because Pi is a rare occasion but is arguably the best pizza in the country! YUM. While at Pi, Ashley tried relentlessly to persuade Matt to share a milkshake, which he didn't seem interested in. Fortunately (whether he overheard or not, we aren't sure), a kind waiter brought her a small glass of chocolate milkshake he had from the excess of one he just made....she was obviously enjoying it!
We came back home to hang out, then eat dinner, and enjoy Daddy's favorite dessert...dirt pudding! Mommy made a 'healthier' version with many creative substitutes for the original ingredients and Daddy tried hard to practice restraint, claiming it was better than the original kind!
Oh, and I can't forget that Mommy got him one of the last Blu-ray trilogies on his 'want' list, Back to the Future...I think his reaction says it all.
It was a really great bday for him!

Sending love to Grandpa

You can see whose girl I was today, although I don't get to be around my grandpas very often, I'm very thankful for them and wanted them to know how much I still love them!!

Sweet Frills

One of Mommy's good friends, Rebecca, along with her mom, got me this super snazzy and frilly outfit, which has a matching burp cloth with my name on it! I used to go through the bibs and burp cloths like crazy, but Mommy doesn't have to wash them as much these days...the spit up has lightened up quite a bit!

Rolling Over

Working on perfecting the art of my roll over these days. I typically never stay on my back when I'm laid down, but perfer to immediately roll onto my tummy and play with my toys from there. However, I do tend to get frustrated eventually, being on my tummy, and haven't quite put together that I can roll back and forth...although I do both separately!

Cute in my Hood

This was a chilly day we had in the midst of the nice, warmer days we've been having (when I have been stylin' in my many sundresses), so I got to wear this super fluffy, soft and warm hooded shirt...which Mommy obviously thought I was adorable in! I'm still trying to figure out the camera...I'd really like to put it in my mouth if I could ever get my hands on it!

Bedtime!

I really like wearing my sleepers at night...they keep me warm since I can't help but kick off every cover Mommy tries to put on me! I hadn't worn a gown since I was a newbie...they were all I wore back in the day! This one however was super comfy! I still get unbelievably excited to see Mommy at night and often squeal in delight and laugh without being prompted just when I see her! Daddy and Mommy are pretty entertained by my enthusiasm...Daddy usually gets my bedtime diaper on me and my sleeper. I'm usually wearing down around 8 or 8:30 these days!

Fruit of the Spirit

I got a super awesomely cute outfit from Kim Foutch that has the fruit of the Spirit on it...and I recently sported my cuteness in it at church :)

My First Easter

Thanks to my awesome Gram and Mema, I was all decked out for Easter...dress, bracelet (that was my mommy's when she was a baby), frilly headband and all!! My friend Kuyp looked pretty sharp too if I do say so myself:)
Mommy and Daddy look forward to when I can also appreciate the hope I have through Jesus' resurrection! You can tell in the pics that I was mostly people watching, and it was difficult to catch me looking at the camera....and no family picture, seems to be the nature of things with a Daddy-Pastor :) Sundays are a little crazy for us, but we just go with it!

More TN Pics

More cute pics from our TN trip! Livy did really well and didn't have separation anxiety spells while we were there, and had several bonding moments with her fam...She really loved her cousin Lucas and would laugh at him as soon as he started talking to her! Daddy (Papa) had a sweet moment with Livy in the ergo. They watched Livy for a little while when Damein and I were gone and she got sleepy so he put her in the ergo! They learn quickly!
Damein sang at church while we were there, and on the way home from church, Lucas said, 'Dame, you are the best singer out of everybody.' Really? Damein said. 'Yeah, you are really good, man,' Lucas said. SO cute!!
