Rolling over

I rolled over for the first time this morning!!

Bumbo Action!

So glad Mema got me this bumbo!!! I was just dying to sit up, I could hardly stand it! Doing some sitting up on the coach and other places, but now I can sit on the counter and watch Mommy cook, sit on the couch while Mommy works, and even at a restaurant...here we are at Stir Crazy! So fun!! Even though I tend to spit up sitting so upright in it, I still love, love, love it!

You can see in a couple of pictures that I even found my legs and feet!!

MY BDAY!!!

I had an awesome bday weekend last weekend, thanks to my hubby and good friends! Friday night at our church elder dinner, Jess made me a yummy gluten free fruit dessert, which was amazing! Saturday morning we were joined by the Brandts and it started with a huge amazing breakfast made by Damein and Matt...waffles, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, hashbrowns...yummmm!!
Then, Ashley and I got manis/pedis at a great spa close by, so my toes were definitely ready for our trip to CA this week!
We grabbed tea and chatted a bit at Starbucks then headed home for lunch where the boys had made some amazing homemade pizzas (great job guys!), and then we enjoyed one of my new favorite movies, Despicable Me...LIGHTBULB! (gifted to me by my hubby)

To round off Saturday, the Brandts had brought some great white chili and tried out the vitamix for the first time, making strawberry shebert...as you can see I stuck a candle in it before it melted:)

Sunday night when we got home from church, I walked in the house with Damein and Livy to a candle lit cake and a surprise from the Brandts! Matt made a gluten and dairy free blueberry cheesecake and it was seriously AMAZING!!!
Everything made me feel so loved, not to mention the wonderful cards and gifts I received from family in the mail!
Thanks everyone, it was wonderful!

Vitamix!!!

I am TOTALLY pumped about my new vitamix, which I have been working toward getting for a few years now...sure, it's great to make my green drink, but I make a lot of my own gluten free flours and can't wait to make Livy's baby food, etc...I can make peanut butter, plant milks, etc...with very few ingredients!!
Here is a video of our first creation...strawberry shebert. It was so easy, but you can hear us commenting on the 'balls' that are supposed to form when it is ready:) Finally Livy closes out the video by letting everyone know it was ready, and we needed to turn it off!

Flowers:)

...from my wonderful husband after a CRAZY February that was so busy we didn't know what was happening! I'm seriously so thankful God brought him into my life!

Sporting the Blue!

Most people say pink is my color but obviously Mommy thought I was pretty cute in blue this day! She got a little excited about the fact that my blue diaper matched my blue bib...and she broke out the blue headband for the occasion! Had to include some of my wide-eyed pics too...this is the 'that's enough pictures' look!

I'm sooo sleepy!

Here are some entertaining pics of Mommy trying to help me wake up from a really, really long nap...I was so tired, and just couldn't quite get myself to wake up!

Hanging with Daddy

I love hanging with my Daddy, and there are lots of things I love doing with him. I light up when he comes around and am already very good at getting his attention when I want it! He can make me laugh pretty loud, and it is always playtime when he comes around! Here are some great pics of us hanging :)

Pumpkin Brownies!!

So, my passion and love for food hasn't decreased since pregnancy...if anything it has increased! I am so hungry all the time and according to Damein, I take in massive amounts of food:) Hey, I'm still feeding 2 so what do you expect?? Here, I have featured my yummy pumpkin brownies that I have enjoyed making recently using my homemade pumpkin that the Brandts cooked up for me with some of my locally grown pumpkins before Livy was born! That made tons for me that I had frozen and have been using lots of it as well to make pumpkin muffins every couple of weeks.
My massive hunger doesn't end at night, so I keep muffins made and eat them throughout the night when I wake up hungry...usually eat 4 by the time morning rolls around. Damein will sometimes awake to me laying next to him eating a muffin :) Carrot muffins and pumpkin are my current favs...and I usually make about 72 at a time and then freeze some. It's become quite easy, and they are muffy-licious!

City Coffeehouse

So, if you follow my mommy's blog at all, you are very familiar with City Coffeehouse...I love this place. I had to persuade mommy and daddy to take me so I could hang out with my friend Carson and his mommy and daddy, Jaime and Travis. Well, actually if you knew how much mommy and daddy love this place, you would know it didn't take much persuading:)

Still loving sleep time

My naps are getting shorter and less frequent these days...there's just so much to see and be a part of, I don't want to miss anything! However, I do still enjoy my naps...here are some of my favorite ways to take a nap, in my swing (my headband can tend to fall over my eyes sometimes, a convenient black out cover:) and in my Ergo when mommy and daddy are out and about getting things done...these are some great times to snooze!

I'm not as big as I look...

So, yes, I was off the charts on weight last doctor's visit (eh, um, that's a good thing at my age!), but pictures make me look quite a bit bigger and older than I do in person! Nonetheless, sitting up is something I try to do as often as possible these days...great for the ab muscles! Here I am on my first Valentine's Day. I also got to visit my new friend Toula who was a few days old here:)
