We made a recent trip to TN to celebrate Grandan's 93rd birthday and visit family and friends. What a life to celebrate! Grandan embodies a life that we hope the Lord will bless us with, years of loving and knowing Him, serving Him and others, seeing his family grow, and years of health. Here are some pictures of Livy with Grandmother and Grandan....they were some sweet times.

Grandan's 93rd Bday

All Played Out
The Age of Mobility, Learning to Scoot!
Well, it has happened. I left Livy on her playmat, and came back in the room a few minutes later and she had scooted completed off and turned sideways, with a very innocent look, like "did I do that?" She rarely ever wants to lay down anymore, even to play on her playmat. She enjoys sitting up, with some assistance, often propped up with a pillow or in her bumbo, and likes to look around and play sitting up. If she is lying down, she scrunches her neck into her chest to lift her head and does a hercules crunch, practically raising herself into an upward position. She is super, super strong, and we have noticed that since the day she was born!
PIZZA!
Bathrobe Baby
3 months...4 months
Lots of growing going on around here, and since I have been a little behind on the blog, I thought I would post her 3 and 4 month pictures! Livy's little personality is blossoming and so is her growth! She is a very sweet baby and these days it is rare for her not to be smiling! However, she has crossed into the stage of slight separation anxiety. While in California, she wouldn't let anyone else hold her hardly. She has begun to let some people hold her gradually, once she warms up to them and when she knows mommy and daddy are around :) She still loves smiling at you though even if she won't let you hold her!
Her 4 month visit was this week and she was 19lbs. 4 oz. and 25 3/4" tall! She is off the charts on weight (which our doc says is a great thing b/c it means mommy has good milk!) and 90% in height. She is super strong, which we have known from the beginning, as she was lifting her head with lots of control the day after she was born! It's all that JP+ I take! Seriously! It's a common trend with JP+ babies to be above average on growth and she sure is! She is rolling over, so close to sitting up without help, and plays for long intervals of time with her toys. She is such a sweet blessing, and very few things compare to the experience of holding your little one and having them look straight into your eyes and smile so big they don't know what to do with themselves. Often she will give me a sweet smile, like she wouldn't want to be anywhere but in my arms. I LOVE it!
These days...
